FAQ
Frequently asked
Is it really free?
Yes — the prediction pool is free forever, for any number of friends. Signup is required so we can track your picks and put you on the leaderboard, but there's no card or paid tier.
How is scoring done?
Correct group-stage winner = 1 point (+1 bonus if you also got the exact score). Knockout points ramp up per stage: Round of 32 = 2 pts, R16 = 4, QF = 8, SF = 16, Final = 32. Plus a +32 bonus for picking the eventual champion correctly. Results are entered by our admin as each match finishes.
When do picks lock?
For now, picks for a given match lock at 00:00 UTC on kickoff day — that's the evening before in most of the Americas. Once kickoff times are individually verified against FIFA's schedule, we'll tighten to exactly 30 minutes before each match.
What if my friends can't make a full pool?
The prediction pool works with any number of members — a solo bracket is fine too. For a console tournament, the paid version lets you run a 48-team World Cup even with just a few friends: empty slots auto-play via match simulation based on team strength and a randomness factor (so upsets still happen).
Does this work with FIFA 26 / EA Sports FC 26?
The prediction pool is game-agnostic — you're predicting the real tournament. The console tournament works great with EA Sports FC 26 (still known as FIFA to most), older FIFA editions, eFootball, and classic PES. Any football sim works.
Are the 48 real qualifiers pre-loaded?
Yes. All 48 teams from the official December 2025 draw are in — Argentina, France, Brazil, Spain, England, and 43 others across 12 groups. See the full list on any pool page or in the tournament creator.
Kick-off is June 11.
